What
Two Speakers (One adult and Applied Computing Foundation students) will present the theme "coding with science fair" with their hands on and first hand involvment and experience. An adult speaker (Mr.Williams) is from Santa Clara Valley Science & Engineering Fair Association and long time advocate for the science and engineering causes in the valley. The avid ACF science fair students are equally passionate about their various projects they have been diligently working on since last September. After the talk, we will have a live discussion with audience as Q & A session. Audience is free and encouraged to interact with speakers with their questions.
Why
Applied Computing Foundation (ACF) is offering leadership and training opportunities beyond classroom to empower our students to grow their technical curiosities especially the application aspect of coding (Learn, build, share and wow the world with your most passionate coding topics- Art, Game, Music, Science, Finance, Robotics, Sports and the list goes on and on). This Silicon Valley Teen Tech Talk (SVTTT) lecture series will enlighten our ACF students in terms of what's possible "when they learn how to build real projects". Our distinguished speakers will share the real application examples.
Speaker Bio - Forrest Williams (Santa Clara Valley Science & Engineering Fair Association)
Mr. Williams: As a former president and boardmember of Santa Clara Valley Science & Engineering Fair Association (SCVSEFA), Mr. Williams is an ardent supporter and activist for the Santa Clara Valley Science & Engineering Fair Association. He not only led his passion on these fields (science and engineering) to his career success but also became an admirable role model for next generations to follow by serving this organization year after year with his contageious humor and enthusiasm. Silicon Valley Teen Tech talks is deeply honored to have this examplary role model as our key note speaker so fitting to our 3rd summit theme "coding with science fair"
